Our History
In 1990, Scott Brumbach had a vision and dream to begin his own construction company. His education, background, and experience led him to open Sebco Companies, a sales and distribution company.
By 1993, he started a separate rep company called Estes Sales while still maintaining Sebco Companies. Estes Sales represented primarily exterior products. Eventually, Sebco and Estes Sales were combined under the Sebco Companies entity and our line offering was condensed to fit our vision moving forward.
Several years later, Scott was approached by the owner of Semad Corporation, a sales rep entity that had been in business since the 1960s. Sebco Companies was currently representing one of their major product lines and felt the merge was a good fit. So, in 1998, Estes Sales merged under the Semad name and again was under the Sebco Companies umbrella.
Scott continued under that format until the owner of D.B. Rasmussen, another sales rep entity, approached him with the idea of buying out his company so he could retire in 2012.
A decision was made to sell the Sebco Companies (distribution and installation business) at the same time and strictly continue with the Rasmussen- Semad Rep agency. Alas, Rasmussen-Semad (better known now as R-S Products, Inc, today) was born and has evolved to our current vendor offerings.
