Our History
In 1990, Scott Brumbach had a vision and a dream of starting his own construction company. His education, background, and experience led him to establish Sebco Companies, a sales and distribution company.
By 1993, he made the decision to create a separate representative company while still maintaining Sebco Companies. This new company primarily represented and sold exterior products.
Several years later, Scott was approached by the owner of Semad Corporation, a sales representative entity that had been in business since the 1960s. At the time, Sebco Companies was representing one of Semad’s major product lines, and both parties felt a merger would be a great fit. In 1998, the original representative company and Semad Corporation merged, with the product offerings adjusted to align with their shared vision moving forward.
Scott continued under this model until 2012, when the owner of D.B. Rasmussen, another sales representative entity, approached him with an offer to sell his company as he prepared for retirement. Eventually, Semad Corporation and D.B. Rasmussen merged into one entity.
Thus, Rasmussen-Semad—better known today as R-S Products, Inc.—was born and has since evolved to offer our current vendor selections.
