Our History
In 1990, driven by entrepreneurial spirit and a deep passion for the construction industry, Scott Brumbach set out to turn his vision into reality. With a strong foundation of education, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience, he launched Sebco—a dynamic sales and distribution company dedicated to serving the construction market.
As Sebco grew, Scott recognized the opportunity to expand his reach and better serve his clients. In 1993, he founded Estes Sales, a dedicated sales representative organization, while continuing to successfully operate Sebco. This strategic move allowed both companies to thrive in their respective niches.
A few years later, Scott was approached by the owner of Semad Corporation, a well-established sales rep firm with a proud history dating back to the 1960s. At the time, Sebco was already representing one of Semad’s key product lines. Recognizing the potential for synergy, Scott orchestrated the merger of Estes Sales and Semad. The unified rep business moved forward under the respected Semad Corporation name.
In 2011, Scott made the pivotal decision to sell Sebco, allowing him to focus entirely on the ever-growing rep side of the business. This move positioned the company for even greater success.
In 2012, another exciting chapter unfolded as Semad Corporation merged with D.B. Rasmussen. The result was the formation of R-S Products, Inc.—a new name that reflected the strength and legacy of both organizations.
Today, R-S Products, Inc. is proud to be a family-owned and operated business. Under the leadership of Owner and President Allison Boss, the company continues to grow while staying true to its core values of integrity, service, and excellence. Supporting the operation is her sister, Rachel Harsell, who plays a vital role in project management and quoting. As daughters of founder Scott Brumbach, Allison and Rachel carry forward his legacy with a shared commitment to quality and strong customer relationships.
